Because (1) citation needed, I mean REALLY, if you're going to claim that peer-reviewed randomized clinical trials exist that prove a connection between vaccines and ASD, and (2) you're a shitty parent if you proclaim your child's life is "ruined" because of an ASD diagnosis. Go fuck yourself.

They have a lot of good points, and are exceptionally smart, which is why I'm so boggled at the antivaxxer stance (other than the part that this friend and his wife are raising the wife's nephew with ASD, so they have a personal stake in it). (But, you know, lots of other people who have a personal stake in it also manage to RESPECT THE SCIENCE OH MY GOD.)
