All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

I have a gazillion options. It's overwhelming. I need a spreadsheet, but like I have the time.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Yeah. I kind of love thinking about this stuff (nerd alert!), but it can definitely be overwhelming. If you know both TIAA and Fidelity offer a ton of fund options, though, then probably either one would be fine. Would it help if you just flipped a coin? Or is there something specific you want to look for (or avoid)?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hil, do you want to see it opening night and/or a different date? I'm probably going to get tickets soon-ish, so let me know. (By "opening night," I mean Friday, probably a 9-ish show, given how long it takes Tim to leave work.)

Sure! Email me to work out details.

I just want to not be a slackards by default! I want to inform myself enough that I'm at least making a better decision than coin flip, but not striving for perfect. I love data, but I actually hate dealing with finances. Because I feel like an idiot (because I am, beyond 'save a lot.')

Meanwhile, here I am planning more phone calls when I still have holes in my ceiling because...I haven't had time to make phone calls...

Will do! Probably tomorrow, because an article that I thought would be easy has turned into a nightmare and I'm still working.

Anyone got advice Tiaacref vs Fidelity?

I do not, but there's an Ask MetaFilter thread on it: [link]

Already hit that thread.

brillig

why do I live in such a crap town for food delivery! I don't want pizza! I want Chinese! Why does the website that says it's for food delivery point me to places that say No Delivery! This is a freaking college town! One of the largest private universities in the country is barely two miles away from me! Do none of them order anything but pizza? Yes, I could go pick it up, but the point was that I could come home and not have to leave the house again. Bah.

This year, it's for a movie I already have tickets to see. The next day. And yet, maybe I'll go?

I'm just saying, if I can convince someone to go with me to see it before we use those tickets, I'm definitely going for it. Pretty sure I'll need to see it many times.
