I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Somewhere there is a world where octopuses rule us all.

I don't regret getting out of bed, but I do wish this migraine would go away. I'm out of ideas to defeat it, so I'm just going to have to wait it out. Fortunately, it's not debilitating, but it doesn't fill me with sunshine.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It might be this one. Donald Trump for Prez is the number one comedy on Octopus TV.

Eek, Calli, that's scary to discover!! (Though part of me goes "monthly trasfer to an IRA? I'm not an adult yet I guess...")

And My Nemesis is badgering me for a thing which I haven't done, because if I have the option, the stuff for her gets ranked below stuff for people who, you know, treat me like decent human beings do.

Hah! Serves her right.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I guess I should have expected this. My company has announced a "movie event" where we can see CA:CW for cheap - I think they do this every year but usually it's been a movie I don't care to see so I haven't paid attention. This year, it's for a movie I already have tickets to see. The next day. And yet, maybe I'll go? It's funny to me how so few movies I see in the theater any more still some of them I manage to see multiple times.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It may be a movie you'll want to see again. Like, immediately.

I gotta go opening night. But I'll probably see it again.

Hil, do you want to see it opening night and/or a different date? I'm probably going to get tickets soon-ish, so let me know. (By "opening night," I mean Friday, probably a 9-ish show, given how long it takes Tim to leave work.)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I don't regret getting out of bed, but I do wish this migraine would go away.

I got out of bed, worked for about 2 hours and then crawled back into bed with a horrible headache. A 3 hour nap has been accomplished and now I'm trying the work thing again. On the plus side, I have enough OT over the last couple of weeks, that missing a few hours today isn't a big deal on my timesheet.

Yeah, I was thinking that.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

OMG octopuses are my favorite! When I was growing up, we had a family friend who ran a small aquarium and his octopus used to sneak out of his tank at night and predate on the other inhabitants.
