Tim starts his drug treatment (methotrexate) for his rheumatoid arthritis tonight. He's a little nervous about side effects (most common is stomach issues, but mood changes and some hair loss [because it's a chemo drug] are possible), although I looked it up, and the most common side effects occurred in 10% of patients or less. So that made him feel better. I think he was assuming that hair loss and puking was inevitable, but the dose for RA is way, WAY lower than it is in a chemo regimen.
So, anyway, if alla y'all could spare some good thoughts that the treatment works but doesn't have awful side effects, that would be swell.
Ugh, I am sorry ND. I know I had a pang because my eldest sister has passed, but that's a different sort of ache.
Definitely sending good results vibes Tim's way, Steph
I am sorry, ND.
Also, Consuels- my thoughts are with you.
And Many vibes for Tim.
And ~ma for anyone else!
Separate post-
The young woman assigned to do wardrobe for this show put a fur coat in the washing machine. I am not sure if you can quite imagine what that looks like, but it looks very much like you put a wolf in the washing machine. I guess I never said NOT to put the fur coat in the washing machine.
OH MY! wow. that is some major not knowing how to do stuff.
I'm really curious what it looks like now.
My uncle put up a picture of my dad, which is yet another kind of bummer for Siblings Day.
That's just... wow, Sophia.
I'm sorry, ND. It's the same pang over Mother's Day and Father's Day and possibly Valentine's Day.
I just watched Star Wars: New Hope, or at least pieces of it, since I was a kid. There is so much story inconsistency. And why does Leia have a British accent for half of it?
I just shared a photo on Facebook but I can't figure out how to link here.
She is trying so hard- so I can't really be mad, just, really flabbergasted. There was fur everywhere, because she also just put it in with the rest of the clothes.
I never thought I would need to vacuum a washing machine.
