I have developed a cold in the last 24 hours that's so far just a persistent cough and a fever. Thanks to the cough, I got 4 hours sleep at the most, so I have been useless today. Also, I am reading a biography of Keats, so I keep making consumption jokes.
Every nightmare I have that doesn't revolve around academic failure or public nudity is about that thing. In fact, once I dreamt that it attacked me while I was late for a test and naked.

My dad's funeral is tomorrow (11 CDT). We've been doing well so far, but it's going to be tough. A couple of his siblings are coming in from Hawaii. Super small family service. And then in a year or so we'll take his ashes home to Hawaii.
