I'm kind of flipping out right now and I don't like it. And I'd try just going to bed crazy early on the "everything always feels less bad in the morning" but I need to go to a friend's goodbye party. I'm hoping I can convince myself to get off the couch and go and maybe it'll jolt me from this sudden pit of despair. I hate my fucking brain chemistry.

I'm sorry you're having a crappy night, meara. I hope your night got better and you were able to enjoy the party. We had a pretty punky night at our house, so maybe there's some funk hanging over the West Coast. I think I'm just overworked and over stressed, with nowhere near adequate resources for support.
I hear that, Burrell. I managed to finally get myself to the party--was randomly tearing up on the way there, but the party was fine (I only knew the guy it was in honor of, who's moving out of tow , but had a pleasant enough time chatting with others). Now going to go home and sleep and hope morning is brighter.
Ugh meara, yes, home and sleep and hoping for brighter sounds like what's in order.
I hope that all are having a better day this fine Sunday. It is a day for gratitude because this is the day that gave the world Tom Scola!
Yay--happy Scola Day!
Happy Birthday, Scola!
So I guess baseball is starting up again. I have this feeling the Royals aren't going to do any better than they did last year.
Yay, Scola!
Happy Birthday, Tom Scola!
Happy Birthday Tom!
