Yeah, I knew about the dot, but not about the plus. Will absolutely build that in.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I had no idea about the plus trick. Kinda neat
How did I not know that? So cool. Learned something new every day so now I can be a slacker the rest of the day.
Timelies all!
A bit rainy here, but all sorts of things are blooming here. Luckily I'm not allergic.
~ma for your dad, Consuela
I just went for a little walk around the neighborhood, in and out of stores, and on general principles went and looked at the books at the Goodwill, and they had The Vor Game! Perfect timing, as I am almost done reading The Warrior's Apprentice on my mother's Kindle, and she wants the Kindle back.
The weekend so far: went with Matilda to see Willy Wonka on a big screen at a neighborhood theater - the neighborhood was 38 blocks away and across the park, though, so we biked, which felt amazingly good (my shoulder and arm have been badly effed up for many weeks, and I haven't biked since January). After the movie we figured, ehn, we're so close to the ocean, might as well go all the way out. Lounged until 3 or so. Matilda acquired many new freckles. Rode back home, showered and now slounging with a bowl of something tasty and hearty that Hec threw together in mere minutes. So far, so good.
OTOH, I am getting more and more leery of FB. This primary season is making people lose their goddamn minds. A friend from high school just went off on a screed about Rachel Maddow, who had the audacity to interview Hillary Clinton today and is therefore a hypocrite, a sellout and not a true progressive at all. Because, apparently, there is nothing more hacky and hypocritical than a journalist interviewing a prominent public figure about significant current events.
That sounds like a great day, JZ.
I can't even explain why, but I do so love knowing that I live just a few blocks from the edge of the continent.
I totally hear that.
