Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

und out this week that the kicker for the NY Giants (and formerly for the Seahawks) works at my company in the offseason.

Really?? That's fascinating. I didn't know football players did that sort of thing! I'm assuming it's not a money thing and more of a "I can't play football forever"? Or maybe it's a "I am so interested in both these things"?? With some other folks I'd think the first answer more but a kicker isn't as likely to get torn up? I feel like this is one of those situations I'd read in a romance novel and disbelieve.

~ma for you and your father, Consuela.

I'm so grumpy about April Fools' day. I'm just going to ignore everything and get some work done, then maybe start watching the new season of Daredevil finally.

We had a former Raiders player work for my company. He was an engineer of some ilk.

Remember all the go, wait, go, wait from yesterday? Did I think today would be different...no. We still don't have a person named to take over for our accounting person - today is her last day.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Or it jumped forward in time from then to now.

Well, there's really no other explanation for why no one took it.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Well, there's really no other explanation for why no one took it.

Yeah, it is kind of hilarious that everyone else who had a meeting in that conference room all week just ignored it and left it there.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I need to have an unpleasant talk with an employee (not firing, but perhaps the first step). I probably shouldn't do that on April Fools Day, should I?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, probably no.

Nope, that should wait.

Retirement lunch was very nice. And I realize that I already see her more on Facebook than at work since she moved to a desk further away, so I should be able to keep up with her.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, I got an iPhone! A 5S, because I am cheap as hell. So I need a case for it? Where do you get that? Just anywhere?

Yup, wherever, just check that it fits your model. I've been letting my phone be caseless and naked for a while and I kind of like it, fwtw.
