I love Brush Knee. You're officially into the second part of the first set I believe.
Oh good! When we do the whole form I feel like I know just enough to get in the way of following the parts I don't know, which is probably progress but feels pretty awkward. Glad to hear your thing went well!
I need to focus on work, of which I have a buttload, but my mind keeps wandering off to absolutely anything else. How the hell did I get through 16 years of school?
Remember how I said work was about to go NUTS? Well, right now it is dead calm...waiting, waiting, waiting.
I went to exactly that place, Zen.
It is nuts. Our project accountant's last day is tomorrow - still no word on who will take on that work. The contracts group has gone radio silent on the ton of work they have before I can do anything. We have two of the six new contracts signed by us and are just waiting for the final countersignature.
One of the fun pieces is that the contracts group is here in the Denver office so I could, in theory, get face to face with them. But I'm without a car today/tomorrow. If we haven't gotten satisfaction by Monday - you can bet I'll be going into the office then.
See, I'm doing the fun task of copying and pasting my emails into a database (whee...). I thought I had to do it for two more folders worth of emails--but one was up to date! Go pre-vacation me! But the other one is taking forever--I last updated through May 2015. And I only just finished through August 2015, after working on it for over an hour. SO MIND NUMBING. I can't believe they don't have a better system in this day and age.
Ugh, I hate tasks like that, meara. No batch uploading?
I confess that I generally make our lowest-level person do that for me.
I'm at the airport for my flight to MI for my niece's wedding. I'm super early, but there's construction on the highway here, and rain likely in an hour. I didn't want to deal with that plus the beginnings of rush hour--better to spend the time at the airport with a book.
