Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The chore I did last night was painting my nails. Usually I don't do that much!

Oh, I take it back. I did also take out the trash.

Because books.

I'm stuck on "hot dog in the toaster oven."

Cats are much more chill about being at Anna's today(Loki.) I think having me shower here helped. We'll see in a few hrs. And after I leave them here unattended for about 20 minutes when I run a quick errand.

1. Fed Cat 2. Drank wine and ate mashed potatoes 3. Watched Orphan Black 4. Slept.

Poor trauma cats!

My aspiration went fine, no follow up, so that's good. Not as big a deal as giving blood or dental work.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad to hear it, Jesse!

Way to adjust, cats.

What I did yesterday after work: fed animals, dined on a chocolate bar and microwaved-from-frozen fried rice, read, slept. Watching TV was too much trouble. And then I got up super late this morning. But now I'm at work, so, yay, adulting.

One of my co-workers has taken in a beautiful little tortoiseshell cat that was living in the woods near her house, and brought her up to the office to recover from being spayed. This cat is so friendly she had to have been someone's pet, and I can't imagine anyone turning her out in the cold. (Fortunately her coat is perfect for hiding her in winter underbrush, hence the name Camo.)

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My annual review is in half an hour. I'm not anxious about it, but I do plan to bring up my coworker's micromanaging, so I'm a little queasy.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Glad it went well, Jesse

I love torties, Matt

My morning Tai Chi class was cancelled today, and I should be spending the time getting ready for work and heading over to campus early. Instead I am futzing around online, but in my defense I am also eating breakfast. That counts, right?
