The Noise has started. And my cats have noooooo manners. They're getting into everything, trying to eat plants, etc. and they really want to go home. They make a break for it every time I open a door.

We currently have a client job named Inter-ceramic, which earworm a me with The Beastie Boys' Intergalactic, which reminds me of Allyson, which makes me smile.

I'm having a shit time focusing.
I am trying to maintain my state of denial about it being Monday.
I woke up half an hour before my alarm, which is not enough time to go back to sleep. Bah.
I've told y'all that Mac's band sectional us before school on Monday and so he has to be there befor 7am? That's almost an hour earlier than normal. I hates it. And since he is Mac, he never gets up on his own. And since he does not care about band ( a class he is failing with a low low F), he drags his feet and mopes around so we barely make it on time.
BUT, I get to work 40 min early and thus have 40 min of slush time for the week to whittle away or get overtime. WHEE!
Looking for the silver lining.

Good luck with the plumbing, sarameg
Ugh msbelle, I hate having to be someone else's alarm. Drives me up the wall! But getting to work early is a win.
Isaac is going to go for an instrument next year when he starts middle school. The school has a good music program. Frances went for the art program instead, which is also good. Since she's only a mediocre student (says her overachiever mom - she gets As and Bs) the art program has been the saving grace for her and I'm ever so grateful for it.
I would also say bedding, maybe linens. I think I only call them linens if they are in the linen closet. And none of them are made of linen.

I support you in that, Lee. Enjoy a leisurely Sunday!
I am coming to the conclusion that there is no such thing as "enough sleep"
I watched The Big Short with my son last night. This is the first time I've just watched a movie in a pretty long time, so that pretty cool and it was a fun to watch it with L. He enjoyed the movie, but it said it kinda left him feeling angry. I read the book a few years ago and was really curious about how it would work as a movie since it isn't the kind of book that would seem to be adaptable to the big screen.
I thought they did a really good job with it, but I don't know that they explained all the financial stuff very well. OTOH, balancing the information with the story must have been enormously difficult and it's been popular so how can I really fault them?
