I am so tired. Interviewed by phone 3 candidates for retiring's position today. One probably overqualified, but great, but probably wanting more research than likely available, time wise. One who'd be very green but could handle it well and really knows what they want and would shape the job well, but we just didn't connect with them well. It was a good, solid interview, but just flat. And then the last one. Holy crap. Started badly because of tech issues, but took off like fire. After comments "winner-winner-chicken--dinner?""I want to be them." "[volunteer program x] will snap them up in a hot second and they'll be running it by fall" " I wish my interview was half that." Boss: "They could walk in and take my job and probably do a better job!" So. 2 more tomorrow, high bar has been set.
And I have about a million other things left undone.
winner-winner-chicken--dinner? is the best interview assessment ever
What happens to women who aren't conventionally feminine or men who don't look masculine enough?
Oh, yeah, I would totally be getting groin checked. I get glared at consistently STILL in womens' restrooms and I wear makeup and shit these days! And my haircut is really super mild! It was so much more in my androgynous days, but seriously, people, you do not want to go down the road you think you want to go down.
The MP3 album of Hamilton is $18.99 on Amazon. I prefer to own my music instead of poking at a website and saying "Please, may I listen to it now?"--plus the only streaming data I've got is my regular Internet. Is that the standard price for getting the whole thing so I can join the cult?

I've been playing it non-stop so I feel like I've gotten my money's worth many times over already. Plus one of us, one of us, one of us.
You can fight amongst yourself about who gets the toaster.
Connie, have you listened to any of it online to see if it's your cup of tea?
Plus I know plenty of Trans* dudes that those ladies do not want in their bathrooms. Beards and muscles and whatnot...but still supposed to be in the women's room? I don't think that was your intent, folks...

Nope, but I'm listening to my own copy now. I like rap/hip hop when it's understandable and talking about more than fucking, drugs, and killing, and which has melodic progression--which, look! Is this!
I kind of sympathize with Burr.
