this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Gah, I hate those that sit behind your eye like that. I hope the drugs work.

I think the big guns are working. But I'm also tripping balls, man. Good lord. I kind of like this loopy feeling (family of addicts, yay), but it's also disconcerting.

The fake fear of bathroom attacks or whatever.

Trans people are overwhelmingly more likely to be attacked (and killed) than to attack someone. But by all means, make them more unsafe by forcing them to use the wrong bathroom. Raaaaaage. #preachingtothechoir

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

And, as has been pointed out elsewhere, who's going to check to verify someone's "biological" gender? What happens to women who aren't conventionally feminine or men who don't look masculine enough?

And, for once, I feel justified in saying "think of the children" - since they've proposed similar rules for schools. What happens when someone gets inappropriate while checking a child's genitals?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I would have so much more respect for these idiots if they stopped trying to cloak their hate in "concerns about women's health" and "we have to protect the children" and just flat out said "We hate and fear brown people, gays, and anyone's who's in the slightest way different from us, and we think women are too stupid to make their own decisions."

Okay, respect isn't really the word, but at least we wouldn't have to waste time with sanctimonious hand-wringing.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

"We hate and fear brown people, gays, and anyone's who's in the slightest way different from us, and we think women are too stupid to make their own decisions."

I thought this was LITerally (said Chris Traiger-style) Donald Trump's presidential platform.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I would do like to organize a massive cross-dressing protest at the capital to form lines at the bathrooms.

I think we should bus drunk drag queens and handsy cisgender men from leather bars to the state capitol to use the restrooms. The legislators will be nostalgically yearning for trans people just doing their business quietly.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I've never gotten Good Friday as a holiday. Then again, not my religion.

We technically get it as a 10th official holiday, but it's floating so we can use it on our birthdays or some other date rather than the Friday before Easter.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Jesse, I had it done and went to work. If you are curious like I am, ask if they'll turn the screen so you can see the ultrasound of the needle going in. It's cool.
