I had an insomnia attack last night for the first time in at least a year. Was unable to fall back asleep from 3-5 something despite multiple doses of melatonin, instead I just kept getting more and more anxious and woke up DH so I just got up and took care of my email. Finally at almost 6 I was tired enough I needed go back to bed and slept until my alarm went off at 7:15. Ack. Not a promising start to my going back to work and the kids' spring break when I'm waking up in the middle of the night miserable.
Oh, no, Burrell! I'm sorry.
Sure seems like there ought to be something like that out there, WS. Does the American Diabetes Association or someone like that have educational materials for caregivers you could use?
I am just slow as molasses today, but the rest of my office seems to be as well so I guess we will all sleepwalk through together. Which is kind of nice in a team-building sense, although not great for productivity I am sure.
That bites, Burrell. I'm sorry.
WS, this is pretty basic but it lists calories for each exchange: [link]
This one is also good: [link]
It was in the 40s this morning, and the sweater I normally keep in my office apparently wandered home. Brrr.
So, is anybody here interested in Kpop? Because I have very recently become obsessed with this craziness [link] and it would be great to not feel like I am the only 43 year old American woman with this problem. (My SISTER was like, "... are you going through a second adolescence?")
The high today will be 658, the low 42. The high tomorrow will be 42, the low 31. Wednesday we get snow.
God bless my husband, he's taking Isaac to camp today and heading straight to work from there so I can eat breakfast and start grading. Love him!
flea, my son's school draws a lot of student from Korea Town (one of the neighborhood's here) so there's a lot of Kpop there. My son is pretty deep in the alt rock zone -- so more X Ambassadors and Imagine Dragons -- with the notable exception of his fascination with Taylor Swift. Whereas my girl is going straight for Panic! at the Disco, MCR and 21 Pilots.
658 is very high indeed.
I hope your air conditioning works.
