The GOP refusal to even meet with Garland, whom they all avowedly like, is like some weird form of abstinence education: If we meet him, we have to give him a hearing; if we give him a hearing, we have to vote; if we do that, we have to treat him like garbage. Next thing we know? Pregnant.
I'm still in my not green jammies but will change later. Bobby did have lovely green socks when he left for work this morning. DH had a pink shirt on! It is really a super bad awful day here so I won't hassle him about it. Business stuff. Not good.
We are all about the green in my family, but I wouldn't consider saying something to anyone outside my family!
I love green and wear it as often as I can. I recently discovered I have 12 different green nail polishes and yes, both my fingernails and toenails are green right now. But again, this is just the normal state of Suzi.
Work is slow as crap today and I just want to sleep. But I have 3 calls between now and the end of the day, so I have to be "on" for those.
And someone in the office just hassled me about St. Patrick's Day. Seriously?
My coworker and I were just saying how it's a good thing we are grown-ups because he has no green shirts. (I can think of SO MANY EXCUSES, but of course no one actually needs one, it's not an actual responsibility (or Matt's, I like Matt's))

I am wearing green. Any help the calendar can give me in deciding what office drag to wear is greatly appreciated! I love theme costuming.
And I had corned beef for breakfast, because tossing and turning all night and finally deciding to go ahead and get up at 4:30 meant I could have a sit down breakfast at Bab's and their corned beef hash is extremely good. And plentiful - it will also be lunch.
I'm looking forward to New England Boiled Dinner this weekend!
