I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Health~ma for your dad, lisah, and congrats to your mom!

Seems like there's always one person in an office with a grade-school sense of humor.

Because books.

Seriously, Dana? Also, Steph! Wow.

Healthy vibes to your dad, lisah.

Soothing vibes (or get-through-it vibes) to Scola.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I hope you get some recharge time at some point today, Tom.

Lisa, all the let everything be OK~ma in the world to your dad and the rest of your family. Make sure you take care of yourself too.

Dana and Steph, that is totally not on. I'd be waving my middle fingers in the air like I just don't care.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was trying to remember why I don't have any memories of pinching or any grief at all about St. Pat's even from when I was in grade school, and then I remembered -- we got the day off when I was in grade school! Evacuation Day! (I am wearing green today, but it's sort of a coincidence.)

lisah, I'm glad your mom will have people at the award thing, even if not you and your dad.

If someone asks where my green is, I'm going to say "In my DNA."

Punishingly Intricate

I wear the map of Ireland on my face so...

I did bring green boots for my mom's event but they don't work with yesterday's outfit which is what I'm wearing.

Coding and Sleeping

And someone in the office just hassled me about St. Patrick's Day.

Don't you want to celebrate Ireland's accomplishments, like Michael Lohan and vomiting into a bagpipe?

I'm going to kill something. All the damned images I uploaded to the damned test documentation server in the past week got blown away. And it's a clunk piece of software that I hate to begin with.

Librarian Warlord

lisah, best to you and your Dad and family.

Consuela, YAY!

Tom, I hope that your day is as easy as possible.

Yesterday, a friend that I hadn't seen in years called to say he was in town and did I want to have lunch -- it was awesome. My DH dropped everything to join us, too. Now we just have to really get a visit in when we are our in LA with him and the whole family.

Ann, that's a ferret.

No Irish here, but the nearest thing to it -- one set of great-great-grandparents immigrated from Anglesey. (Holyhead, one end of the ferry from Dublin to Wales, is on Anglesey.) I'm wearing blue today, with gray trousers.
