Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Dana, that blows. I'm sorry. Although this:

Maybe his possible dream job, which was the one outside of Cincinnati, will magically come true.

would be cool (for my selfish reasons).

She can only go by T-Pain now.

Ha! I was thinking that!

brillig

I bet Nashville thinks they're being considerate and appreciative of the effort by making an appointment to talk directly

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ugh, Dana. I'm sorry. That really sucks.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That sucks, Dana! Maybe Cincy will come through.

My stomach is in knots. Ouch.

I'm sorry, Dana. I hate that they kept you waiting like that.

I am in a minority here, because after all the effort I put into interviewing, I appreciate a phone call if they are cutting me loose. (Interviews in my circle are usually 2 days long, and have a presentation involved, YInterviewMV. So I've spent a lot of time with the Committee members by then.) Even when I'm the hiring person, I feel better about making a phone call than just sending an email most of the time.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Now I get to spend probably 2 hours with my coworker while she rewrites my stuff. Woo.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think a phone call is OK, but it sounded like they made aphone call to make an appointment for a phone call? Maybe I misunderstood.

No, they emailed to make an appointment for the phone call.

And today, because I am sullen, I refuse to chase my coworker down for our regularly scheduled meeting. I have to do it every time we have a meeting, and I am not her secretary.
