What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That would wonderful, PMM! I'll see what I can do.

Good point, sarameg. Very good point. (The rabbit point, no comment on the corn. I don't hardly eat corn anymore, for unrelated-to-that-particular-issue reasons)

I did know about Batboy the musical!

Oh, hey, the Amtrak app will finally let me book a round trip that returns the same day as departure. That was a much needed improvement.

Is it wrong to take the train to a Ren Faire? Feels a little wrong. But shouldn't be worse than driving.

Is it wrong to take the train to a Ren Faire?

Is there a horse-drawn wagon available?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

And Lookingglass Theatre did a musical about the Eastland sinking in the Chicago river. [link] It was really kind of wonderful.

Not, I think, the whole way.

Connie, I hadn't realized tomorrow was Pioneer Day. I didn't see any fireworks stands like I did last year.

On the plane, waiting to taxi. I have a 4 week old baby next to me. He is blissfully asleep right now. Even if he cries, I can handle tiny baby cries over screeching toddler screams (a few rows back).

I'm thinking on foot, with coconuts.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Jesus, there was a mass shooting at a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana. Two dead, including the gunman, eight wounded.

There may be more bans this year, people not wanting to burn the state down. Plus the Pioneers rolled into the Salt Lake Valley, it took a while to get to St. George.

ION, I received an announcement for what I believe is the ceremony to put Hubby's name on the memorial wall for organ donors. Last weekend in August, some bright bulb scheduled it for 9:30 in the morning, when it will be cool. I shall take the train up, that way I can cry as much as I need to. The light rail stop is right at the library where the wall is.
