I got a pedi after work today and dropped my kindle in the foot bath. I almost caught it, but the bottom still touched water. On my way to the hotel I stopped and picked up dinner at a place I knew served rice. I did get a funny look, asking for some uncooked rice along with my meal, but the manager was happy to oblige (while the cashier asked what she should charge). So, I'm putting around on my laptop instead of reading my book. Booooo.

I finally managed to drop off three pairs of old eyeglasses at a Lion's Club drop box after work today. I threw out all the empty boxes from the closet, so now I'm working on the crap under the bed. I just cleared out a ton of old paperwork from a random box and I'm only hanging on to tax information and a handful of records I might need some day.

I have a bag of things to shred. Detritus of my old life that's like shedding a weight. Like, who was this person that I used to be, and why didn't she know how to file shit?! Oh right, possibly because she was super unhappy, huh?

I think this means it's time to have a quick glass of wine and then go to bed.
