When do you see the periodontist, -t? I go back to see my dentist next Tuesday to get imprints for the bridge which then gets placed on Friday (unless I want to hang out for a few hours on Tuesday, which....no).

I have gone back on my Lyrica. The face twinges started to return a bit and I jumped back on the med. No way do I want that pain back.

I can handle certain kinds of pain without much fuss, but other pain - oh hell no.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

VICTORY!

Woot.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Friday, to determine whether they can do a crown lengthening or if we'll need to go extract and implant. Although if we need to extract, I'm going to question whether I need an implant. I feel like my lower jaw is too full of teeth, really, a gap might not be a bad thing.

Yeah, that's kinda what I mean. The quality of the pain, for lack of better terminology, is so different for various things called aches.

I also suck at describing pain. I think there are ways that doctors want you to describe it, but I am always like "Well, it feels like if I could take my leg and rotate it up over my head, like a Barbie doll, it would help the pain" or "It feels like someone is taking a rusty grapefuit spoon/melon baller and scraping out my uterus."

I've been keeping a bunch of boxes from various appliances or electronics in my closet. I want to have the movers pack everything for me because I'm getting relocation money and a corporate discount, and it turns out that I can't pack anything in those boxes myself, because if anything gets damaged it's on me and not the moving company.

I guess I'll be tossing out even more stuff tonight.

Back to school stuff is starting. Isn't it a little early?

Oh, I know this one well.

it turns out that I can't pack anything in those boxes myself, because if anything gets damaged it's on me and not the moving company

That is annoying. I kinda get it, but still. Those boxes were created SPECIFICALLY for moving item X. Should be easy.

Back to school stuff is starting.

Schools here are back in session in about a month.

I'm off to SLC again in the morning and my printer is out of ink, so I can't print my boarding pass tonight. I mean, I could go buy more ink, but I'm feeling lazy today.

I know, right? I wanted to protest using this logic, but I decided it wasn't the hill I wanted to die on.

I also need to determine if I have any high-value items.

Sophia, I tend to describe pain the way yo do ("I feel like someone's taken the top of my head off and a cold win is blowing through" is a fairly common thing for me to say) and DH would always respond to me saying something hurt with "A sharp pain or dull? How intense?" blah blah probably medically useful terms (his dad was a doctor, I imagine he picked it up from him). Which could be helpful but often frustrating.
