From my escapades on Facebook this morning, anyone who thinks it's praiseworthy to yell at a two year old deserves a nutpunch. No matter if the parents aren't adequately controlling the kid, you don't fucking yell at a toddler. (I may have unfollowed for that. Maybe.)

I am full of gronk today
Now I'm thinking about being full of Gronk, and it is surprisingly (not at all surprisingly) dirty!
I was trapped by a bus this morning. None of it made sense.
I got trapped by a garbage truck, and then a moving truck/Ford truck combination. It took me over 10 minutes to get from my driveway to the end of the street, which is only 3 houses.
I've been working from home this morning while I waited for someone to come by and survey my crap for a move assessment. Now that she's been and gone and I had to chase one of the cats up and down the stairs, I am going to the office because it's falafel day.

Ha! Oh yeah, isn't there a cult fan fic about him? A Gronk to Rememner? I heard about it on NPR, of all places.
Sorry about getting trapped, y'all. I was all irritated by the roto rooter trucks a block up from me directing traffic at my corner, but I never was trapped by them, just annoyed (especially when they would make me wait when I was at the 4-way stop first and waved someone making a left turn in front of me. Bastards)
Falafel Day sounds delightful. We have an Ice Cream Social on Thursday, I guess that will have to do.
I'm jealous of Falafel Day. No special days here yet, but it's only an office of 9 in company of about 250,000. We do have an unlocked vending machine though.
I just had a near-disaster with the vending machine here -- it's sold out of Diet Coke, and the remaining Diet Pepsi was blocked by another bottle that didn't fall down properly. OK, so I guess I'll have iced tea. Put in my money, hit the buttons -- and the bottle does fall down! I hit and shook the machine, and it came out! Proud of myself.
Finally, my doctor called in the preauth to Cigna and my pharmacy is filling my prescription. After several days of me calling them both every day. Still don't know why Cigna suddenly needed a preauth for a med they've filled with no problem several times before.
Side effect of the med in question: vivid, oddly coherent dreams. They're little stories that make pretty good sense, unlike normal dreams. They're often violent, but not terribly scary. I'm living some interesting lives, these nights lately.
I hit and shook the machine, and it came out!
VICTORY!
