I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Clearly, I am now a nationally known bon vivant.

That's been true for years!

Well, fuck, people are leaving early just no one told me.

This is why I went to talk to my colleague about letting his people go! (Not like Moses.) It sucks to realize that other people are leaving when you are a rule-follower who wants to be dismissed! Speaking from experience....

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Why is that a question?

Because I'm a lot likelier to go to the sushi place down the block for lunch Saturday than across town to Red Lobster, and they have a promotion I want to get in on before it ends around New Year's.

Edit: I think I've talked myself into going out for lobster tonight before my sense of fiscal responsibility can kick in regarding bonus money.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Indeed.

Excel has not reopened. I'll give it two more minutes.

Thrive to spite them

I have finished xmas shopping. Somewhere in my packed stuff are ornaments I bought last year and never mailed...so there are those and Mom and Dad always talk about what a treat a Coke was. So in the past they've given my brother and I Cokes on bottles. So I got them Mexican cokes. Root beer for me ( a brand from Maine), sparkling apple juice for my nephew and beer for my brother and his gf. Who won't be there. I don't know what beer they like but I got 2 with interestING labels my brother can pick one. All in glasses bottles.

Our wings are not tired.

Red Lobster has cheddar biscuits. They get my vote.

DH brought me home lobster bisque and blackened grouper from a seafood restaurant that was next door to where he was getting his oil changed. He is my hero.

Matt, Lobster is a christmas tradition around here as it's in season. But I won't tell you how much they're selling it for on the side of the road.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Is it Red Lobster that does salt-baked potatoes? That was delicious.

I'm watching White Christmas, and figure if I get everything neatened tonight, dealing with the floor tomorrow morning will be fine. And also making the apps. I bought the veg tray and have made the dip already.
