I had my yearly review today and it went better than I thought. It ALWAYS goes better than I think: no boss ever has the same critical ferocity about me as my own thoughts. Got a 4.5% raise and a big unexpected bonus.

This morning Walter and Jadzia both went out the dog door when I held it open for them but got back inside under their own steam, so today is a win regardless of what else I accomplish.

I accidentally got in the super special transit pre-check Security lane even though I wasn't supposed to, but it was unmarked! And nobody stopped me! I didn't have to take off my shoes, went through a metal detector, and now I'm murdering a breakfast burrito.
