One half hour until vacation.
You must be on vacation now! YAY!
I am having a day where I think, "I need to stop eating so poorly. I am starting to develop my mother's middle-aged belly," and then eat more mint M&Ms
So many days like this.
Luckily I got the work I desperately needed to done. Though my one project manager is basically like 'Well, we need YOU to do this, not the new person, she doesn't know what she's doing" and I'm like "...did I not JUST finish telling you I've put in WAY over the amount I'm supposed to on this project and don't have time for this?" UGH. The problem being TECHNICALLY I could do it--I am not somewhere else that day--but the idea is I'm supposed to have enough time at home to do things like write my reports and prepare for my visits and such, and I don't HAVE that right now. But it's lots easier to say no when I'm already booked somewhere.
Wait, Steph -- how will anyone know it's SRS SCIENCE??
Um, DUH, doing a google IS SRS BZNS.
Also, watching her make my temporary crown made me want watch Face Off. Good thing it's back soon.
I am so tired I could put my head on this table and sleep. I just have to make it to my concert, and then adrenaline will kick in. And then I can go home and sleep many hours.
Whatcha singing, Dana?
Not the best way to get three-day weekends...
For real, though.
I am so excited for my no-plan weekend! I have had too many plans lately.
Yay for vacation!
-t, glad you didn't have a crazy marathon.
My lungs have been tightening up over the last couple of weeks. Just started a course of Prednisone (happy, happy, joy, joy). Used my nebulizer before going to the grocery store and I've had major shakes over the last hour. Play nice, lungs. Play nice.
-t, your mind would be blown at my dentist. No temp crowns. They digitally scan the tooth, create a bed, scan that and then this robot thing carves a tooth from a block while you wait. All done in under 4hrs. And the dentist can reshape the digital image before carving to fix any issues (one of the reasons I needed one crown was that the tooth deteriorated because it sat too high.)
It's terribly Star Trek.
Uncle~ma, msbelle.
Yesterday I finished the probationary period at my job. Today my manager and another coworker decided that 4pm on a Friday was the right time for kooshball juggling practice. The manager's up to 4 at a time. I'm enjoying my job so far.
OMG sarameg, living in the future!
That is good to hear, Calli!
