I hope ruthless Simmons can take care of vulnerable Fitz. Though Fitz has his moments of badassery, too. But I adore those two.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"
In kind of related news, I read a review of the Snow White prequel/sequel movie. The reviewer didn't like it at all ... a major complaint being that Chris Hemsworth kept his shirt on for the WHOLE MOVIE.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
I liked Snow White and the Huntsman. A movie driven by the two female leads, both overcoming terribly tragic pasts, one completely unsympathetic in spite of her tragic backstory, with the males playing support roles, and no romance, in fact a woman specifically rejecting romance because she's got important shit to do. Some elements were unbelievable, and some bits didn't work - they tried hard to fit the whole "fairest" thing into the narrative but it was just clunky - but overall, I'm happy with a story driven by women's choices, women's rage, and women's determination to change things.
Granted, I doubt SWH was written as a feminist manifesto of any kind.

Thrive to spite them
I liked SWH ... Kristen Stewart I had to get used to. Chalize chewing through the scenery was epic. And visually there were stunning moments. And Snow saved herself. I mean the bird and horse where there bit she still had to get out.
And I liked that the true love that woke here wasnt romantic love for her. It's not the world's best movie but it's mostly fun.

I'm not interested in the movie, but if they'd put two more hours of Theron, Blunt, Chastain, and Hemsworth on The Graham Norton Show in theaters I'd pay to see it.
