Have not seen it, but on the list at some point when it is legally available for free. Someone who I respect commented on twitter that Jessica Jones is the ultimate Noir hero, more Noir than Sam Spade, more Noir than Philip Marlowe.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Also, Luke Cage, holy hotness. That was some good casting. He has very, very nice skin. Very nice.

His thing is having unbreakable skin, so casting someone with no blemishes (or pores) must have been a priority.

If Jessica Jones is a noir, then Luke fills the role of femme fatale perfectly. He temps Jessica then sets her up for a fall .

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

You know what? I'm not saying SHIELD is a *bad* show. But ISTG, not once, not EVER since it's premiered, have I thought it was *fun*. And a show doesn't need to be fun to be good, but god DAMN, I am tired of how HEAVY this show is.

I can't believe it's produced by the same company that made the first Avengers movie, Iron Man, Thor, and Ant Man.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I love how heavy it is. I like fun shows too, but I also like dark and twisty.

I get that, but it just feels like the heaviness just does not let UP. Simmons has trauma, May has trauma, now Coulson has big ol' trauma. And that's just stuff that happened this season.

I could use a little lightness, is all.

Okay, when Mac said "We're outmanned...outgunned," I admit I immediately said "Outnumbered, outplanned!" #Hamiltunes

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That last move of Coulson's seemed like a total Steve Rodgers move.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

That last move of Coulson's seemed like a total Steve Rodgers move.

Right up until the point he hit his head on a rock on the other side. Slick, Phil, real slick.

I'm really miffed they killed off Rosaline.

And I agree, the show could use a little more humor.

ION, the guy playing Lincoln looks just like the head production guy over on Geek and Sundry's Twitch channel and I find it ridiculously distracting every time he's on screen.

I liked her a LOT. Stupid dark show.
