I enjoyed it. Perhaps my "Oh, come on!" meter has been knocked out of whack by reality, but I don't recall anything setting it off in the movie. I thought Anthony Mackie did a good job, and got the excellent performances I was expecting from Harrison Ford and Carl Lumbly.

Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).

For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
We both really liked it.
We saw Captain America this afternoon, and it was pretty entertaining. I'm glad the MCU finally addressed the giant Celestial sticking partway out of the ocean.
To some degree anyway. I get that " new veins of nearly-indestructible metal to exploit " is a lot more actionable on a human scale than "hundreds of miles tall statue sticking out of the Pacific has caused a wobble in Earth's rotation and worldwide weather is SCREWED!" but you'd think the latter would be of primary importance to world governments. Unless Tiamut arranged things so its emergence counterbalanced global warming as a parting gift, I guess...
Daredevil: Born Again — I love Kingpin a truly deranged amount.
That's all I have to say for now. (We've only watched the first episode; we're saving the second one for tomorrow.)
Okay, one more thing: fucking goddamn motherfuckers. How dare they. R.I.P., Foggy.
Daredevil: Born Again
So the show runner's talk about Foggy and Karen being the heart of the show and it being impossible to do it without them was complete bullshit .
Overall, I'm interested in seeing where this goes, but I feel lied to and it puts a damper on the whole thing.
ETA: Having Matt Murdock say "my client didn't have his magic amulet" with a straight face may have been the most unexpected thing beyond my other white font.
I’m 15 minutes in and I think I need to take a break for a day or two.

Right?
My enthusiasm to watch was gone pretty quickly once I read reviews.
Daredevil Season 2 is filming on my block next week!
