Marvels: I want to see the version of this movie that includes the Bollywood/Kpop dance scene that was way too obviously left on the cutting room floor. GIVE ME THE SCI FI MUSICAL OF MY DREAMS YOU COWARDS.
Marvel Universe: Infinite Chrises

I was definitely expecting that to happen, although I was just so delighted by Aladna I couldn't be too bothered by what I was missing out on
Well, The Marvels was *delightful*!
Also: Young Avengers! Young Avengers!
I also want to know how many women Tessa Thompson turned gay by wearing that suit, because DAMN.
And one more thought about The Marvels: I never ever thought I would hear an Andrew Lloyd Webber song in an MCU movie. I was HOWLING with laughter at “Do not run from the flerkens. Let them eat you.” and at Kamala pointing the flerkittens at the SABRE agents. I would have liked to see at least one SABER agent shrug and go “This might as well happen” before getting gobbled up by a flerkitten.
Steph, the answer is ALL OF US, except for women who have seen Tessa Thompson in a suit before. Because, indeed, DAMN.
My family debated on the way home which song from Cats we would have chosen for that scene instead of Memory. (It's a classic for a reason, but imagine if they'd used Magical Mister Mistoffelees.)
Jess is correct on all the whitefont
Good point, Jess! I would have enjoyed that song there.
I saw The Marvels last Friday, and I had a blast! There were plot points that I totally didn't expect, and that's all too rare in Marvel movies these days. While yes, there were serious bits, I don't remember the last time I had so much fun at a movie. I'm totally getting the dvd when it's available.
The Marvels was great. I can't remember the last time I laughed non-stop for the amount of time I did during the "let the flerkens eat you" scene.
