Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
In the comics Ms. Marvel has a very different power set than the show and is
an Inhuman.
That seems less likely in the show unless some people that are dropping exposition are wrong or lying. However, considering the
bangle was initially found on a blue arm,
it's highly likely
the Kree
are still involved somehow.
ETA: I don't know if No Way Home is streaming anywhere yet. I bought it on Blu Ray when it came out so I could watch it. (Not that I mind, I have every other Spider-Man movie on physical media). I would say just watch MoM now and catch NWH when you can.
No Way Home is for rent on AppleTV and Amazon Prime and some other places, fwtw
Love and Thunder is a little slow to get going, but overall, I enjoyed it! Best third act of any of the Thor movies.
Yay! I was too tired to try to see it today, but soon I hope to manage it
That's good to hear. The limited feedback I've been seeing on Twitter hasn't been great.
My in-laws are taking ltc tonight and we’re seeing Thor with Thessaly and Victor.
Thor was absolutely delightful! Lots of cheering and laughing from the audience.
Google spoiled me for a post-credits scene, but I was delighted by it, so that was okay.
I wasn’t spoiled for the post-credits scene, but the movie did sort of telegraph that the character was going to show up, and when he did I didn’t recognize the actor.
I didn’t recognize
Charlize Theron
in Dr. Strange, either.
I thought Thor 4 (More Thor) was enjoyable enough while I was watching but had a pretty stupid / nonexistant plot? But on the whole I enjoyed it more than MoM because it was so lightweight and inconsequential and didn't try to tie everything into a Big Marvel THING I'd have to remember and care about for like 15 more movies.
