I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That was indeed fun! And I am pleased, and a little surprised, that I was not spoiled for any of it, really

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I managed to stay really unspoiled for Dr. Strange, which made those parts fun, but I realize I just fundamentally don't care about his whole Thing.

Someone else in the theater after said, "It's giving Everything Everywhere All At Once" and that movie may have spoiled me for multiverses, tbh.

My emotional involvement with Dr Strange is pretty much nonexistent. If I start thinking about the implications of some of those multiverses it’ll irritate me, so I don’t. I might want to see Everything Everwhere again, though, now that you mention it!

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

What I have gotten out of those two movies is an occasional, "Oh, that looks cool," occasional chuckles, a reinforced love of Elizabeth Olsen, a conviction that Cumberbatch and McAdams have no chemistry, and an appreciation of the sentient cape.

Also, the surprise cameos were cool, because I knew who those people were and it made me feel smart.

What is the difference between a cape and a cloak, anyway? I know I could look it up but I feel certain I have looked it up before and have a vague sense that the results were unsatisfactory in some way.

Maybe a cloak has a neck?

I looked it up again. Cloaks are longer, below the knee; capes are shorter, just to waist or mid thigh. I will not retain this knowledge.

I thought it had something to do with the hood or neck or something.

Upon reflection, I think the difference *should* be that capes are for making you look good and cloaks are for keeping you warm and/or hidden.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

It's weird - with the beard, he's 100% Dr Strange to me, but clean-shaven I just see Cumberbatch doing an American accent.
