Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Black Widow. In a theater
I almost forgot - I saw Black Widow!! In a theater!! First post-pandemic movie theater experience!!
The movie was...not fantastic. I'm not sure what Black Widow story I wanted, but this wasn't it. (Florence Pugh is terrific, and there are some good moments in there, but the whole thing was weirdly awkward.)

I had been holding out for French Dispatch, but it's not coming until the fall. Matilda has already been to two movies in theater (Demon Slayer [anime], and Cruella), but all three of us went to see a rep house showing of Amelie last night. And, of course, we dressed for the occasion.
I've seen it a bunch of times, including originally in a theater, and we own the DVD. But I tend to think of the visuals, and had forgotten how funny it is. The scenes where Amelie was gaslighting the abusive green grocer in vengeance got loud guffaws from both JZ and Matilda (and others in the crowd). As did the world traveling garden gnome.
Loki would indeed Do That. So would Tony Stark.
Okay, so... like, is he from an entire alternate timeline of Asgardian reptiles, or did he just transform into an alligator at some point and get stuck ?
Or, as a review I read proposed, did he just eat a Loki?

Tep, I'm picturing basically the Disney animated Robin Hood, but Asgard.

I rewound and watched the frog Thor bit twice and I still thought it was just regular Asgardian Thor shrunk down and stuck in a jar. I didn't realize it was frog Thor until I saw a comment on Tumblr. But HELL YEAH, frog Thor !!!!!
I think the conclusion is that I need to clean the TV screen.
