I think they should have made it more clear that Sam was bracing the wings against the armored car and just guiding things rather than acting as the medium through which they were applying thrust. The amount of force required for this wing's engines to catch and reverse that fall would have squeezed him out of his uniform like toothpaste out of a tube, otherwise.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.
As the reviewer at Tor said, I miss screaming with a bunch of other people at the important moments, but it was still good to watch the trailer.
