Well, some really good moments, but I don’t love the whole as I expected to.

One thing that bugged me washow quickly the show wanted us to come around on John Walker. What's it been, a week? I know I said I found him sympathetic last time but that was kind of based on the idea that he'd feel guilty or something. Russell still did a good job though.
Yeah, I thought the moment when he visibly made the choice between going after Karli and trying to save the people was well done. Don't know what the hell his actual status is supposed to be now, considering, you know, he killed a guy.
Yeah, that was bumpy, but here's the one thing I'm going to pick out that bothered me: the end credits saying Captain America and the Winter Soldier. I mean, I get it, obviously, but half the point of the show was that Bucky's not the Winter Soldier!!
Yeah, Jesse, I wanted them to switch both. Like, do a crossing out, then crossing out again.
Also, no love for Bucky's therapist.
I assume that the Smithsonian exhibit said that Elijah was dead, so at least no one would go looking for him.
I am curious about what the writers wanted Bucky to mean with that “depends on the therapist” remark
I totally have mixed feelings about that Captain America and the Winter Soldier thing, but they couldn’t really call him the White Wolf at this point, at least that doesn’t feel right to me.
Captain America and Off-Duty Bucky!
(there is a post up there)
Ooh, I like it!
Oh hey, just so I don't look like I hated it, I thought the fights and flights were awesome. They definitely didn't skimp on the effects! Okay, I have my usual "physics though?" issues, but on the whole, wowza! I'm just more invested, as usual, in the emotional development.
I'm pretty sure none of that is spoilery, but let me know if I'm wrong.
ETA ugh because where am I, tiktok?
