I'm sure! It's just a little frustrating for me.
Marvel Universe: Infinite Chrises
Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
It did kind of get me thinking about the whole History of TV framework that Westview has. Would Wanda have watched a lot of Dick van Dyke and Bewitched back in Sokovia? Maybe she was bingewatching Nick@Night when she was grounded at Avengers HQ
Knowing barely anything about the Marvel universe, she's now my favorite character because of the theme song and the pet bunny.
When I saw that dress she was wearing as she touched down at the beginning of the song, I yelled out loud that she was using your style!
I'm really looking forward to getting a shot of the whole outfit.
I'm also hoping the showdown between Wanda and Agatha has a bit where they're falling through different TV genres.
That would be fun
March 5: WandaVision finale.
March 13: Falcon and the Winter Soldier premiere.
April 23: FatWS finale.
May 7: Black Widow release.
June 11: Loki premiere.
July 9: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings release.
Mid-year sometime: What If...? premiere.
July 16: Loki finale.
Late 2021 sometime: Ms. Marvel premiere.
Late 2021 sometime: Hawkguy premiere.
November 5: The Eternals release.
Late December: Spider-Man: No Way Home release.
[edited to add the Eternals]
That is frankly overwhelming. I am not ready for all this.
I thought Eternals was supposed to come out in Nov 2021? Can't keep track of what's pushed back and how long. And given the slow vaccine roll out, big theatrical release of Black Widow in May is wishful thinking IMO. Regardless, that's a lot on the slate. No business like Marvel business in providing content!
Fun article in which the composers for all the WandaVision sitcom theme songs (Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, of Frozen and Coco fame) briefly talk about each of the songs: [link]
I didn't know Christophe Beck was also doing music for the show! It all comes back to Buffy, etc.
Thanks for the link, Vonnie. I saw that elsewhere and saved it to read later but now I can have it in an open tab waiting for me to have a minute during work, so higher chance of actually reading it - and it sounds so interesting, so better chance of reading is excellent!
