Spike ,'Sleeper'
Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.

There is also going to be a movie about an Asian Marvel hero (... did not know they had one!) called Shang-Chi
Shang-Chi was created by Marvel in the 1970s to cash in on the kung-fu craze at the time. It was one of the better comics from Marvel then (with the caveat that it was written and drawn by white men). The character faded once the kung-fu fad ended.
The guy now playing Shang-Chi tweeted at Marvel in April 2018 about playing Shang-Chi, presumably talking shit.

It's almost certainly not going to be R rated.

DAMMIT. I want more bloodbaths & snacking on humans! t the Atropa Is Predictable tag never closes
The end of Far from Home shows that Marvel does have some awareness of beloved elements from prior movies by other studios. Maybe we'll get a bloodbath scene set to "Confusion" as a nod to the original?

I want to point out that I (who was not in this thread, 'cuz I hadn't seen Far from Home yet) texted Atropa with full ASSCAPS FLAIL the moment I saw the news (basically right after it was announced) and our text thread was pretty much this, only extended and with more HOLY SHIT!!!!s.
I'm curious if they're going to leave Blade as his own thing or if they're just going to say "Surprise, there were vampires all along!"
Certainly I don't think there could be a secret conspiracy between vampires and the government of the US/other nations co-existing with SHIELD, HYDRA, and such without the latter having had any inkling of it til now. If Blade is in the regular MCU, vampires will have to be much less organized and much better at covering up their activities without the aid of authorities looking the other way.
Haven't seen tonight's SHIELD, but my prediction for the last two episodes:
