"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I finally saw Endgame last night! I managed to not get spoiled at all, and as we were getting our tickets and food, TCG was singing "lalala" so that I couldn't hear if anyone was talking about it. I cried so so much.

I cried 4 times. the first time we met Stark's daughter, when Cap saw Peggy in the 70s, and of course when Tony died, and of course the end with Cap, which I needed to happen so badly.

Also TCG and I couldn't get over how much Morgan talked like ltc does, and that definitely added to the crying.

I took a pee break when Ant Man's taco fell apart, and came back just after they found Thor. I don't think I missed that much.

I'm trying to wrap my head around if
Steve was Peggy Carter's husband, and the father of her children the whole time. Did we ever get to see who Peggy's husband was ?

Tom, I pretty much spent all night thinking about that.

I didn't understand Peter meeting up with his friends at school at the end. Shouldn't he be five year out of sync with them?

This deals with some one th questions we have been pondering

Thanks for the link msbelle, and now I'm crying again.

I will never, EVER get over
Cap using Mjolnir. EVER. I think I actually shrieked in the theater, while all the other, more reasonable people just clapped.

Same, Teppy. Shrieked and clapped, much to the annoyance of those around me.

It's a tiny thing, I know, but I was
so damn happy to see Jarvis in the 1970s.

Me too!

I did not like Thor's beer belly at all. The drinking to deal was fine, but it was too much otherwise.

Ahhhh! That was so much better than I was expecting!!!

Jesse is me. I don't know what I was expecting, but it was so much more epic.

I can't believe no one has
mentioned Sam becoming Captain America yet.

Loved that, and I want a movie.

Tep, for my own mind thought stuff...

if Nebula can kill her past self and remain alive and past!Gamora can remain in the future, her timeline all Jeremy Bearimy, Steve and SWINTON! totally found a way to allow him and Peggy to have some sort of pocket timeline in the dot of the Bearimy i.

'm willing to accept
A Wizard Did It (aka SWINTON Did It) as an explanation for events. Steve just made sure SWINTON was his last stop on his tour, and she and the Time Stone deposited him in the correct timeline.

I love this theory a lot.

Guys, I get WAY too invested in my fannish interests, because I am just really sad today that this part of the MCU is basically over. I mean REALLY sad. I know there's more to come, but I love the OG Avengers.

Same.

I have one thing to say that has not yet been said:
That IS America's ass .

YES!

Was anyone else whispering for Tony and Cap to kiss at several times in the movie? No, just me?

Either way,
I would've loved to see him having a chat with Red Skull.

Yes, billytea!

Actually I want a whole movie of Cap putting the time stones back, even though I know it won't happen.

So, according to the Russos [spoilers]

I can live with that.

Things I noticed on rewatch:

And Dana made me cry again. I'm really a mess today.

The Spiderman movie is the only one I haven't seen, and now I'm not sure I can because I'm just going to cry over Tony the whole time.

Agreeing with Tom that Karen Gillan was amazing.

Yeah, even just
a version of Nebula killing a version of Thanos, even if it wasn't the final boss.

This would have been good, but I'm glad that, Nebula lives to presumably be in the next GotG movie.

I would pay folding money to watch
Deadly Grandpa Steve.

Same. Also, I'm assuming that Peggy died at approximately the same age we saw her die, so Steve came back as an old man only after she was gone.

edit Of course I would. Looks around at the truly embarrassing pile of Marvel branded toys and crap bought in the last month. Talk about retail therapy.

Also, same, and the ridiculous amount I keep buying for ltc, who luckily loves superheroes.

I need a (continued...)

( continues...) Nebula funko pop like air.

Same.

It's Been a Long,Long Time".

I may have played this song several times last night before trying to sleep.

And, as though just to reinforce this feeling from Infinity War,
the Soul Stone logic makes no sense because no one sacrificed anyone! I guess you could make the argument that Natasha loved herself? But the guy says "sacrifice something you love" and Clint absolutely did NOT sacrifice her. Rather the opposite. I'm starting to think we shouldn't trust the floating red guy. Maybe the trick is just that somebody has to die and this is his way of keeping visitors from saying, well then why not you? He's probably the first one to keep this job for more than one visit.

Emily, I was completely expecting them to throw Red Skull in, and was kind of shocked when it didn't happen.

In conclusion, I'm planning on going to see it again the minute I drop ltc off at school on Monday if they're still doing morning showings next week.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The Spiderman movie is the only one I haven't seen, and now I'm not sure I can because

There's a new trailer tomorrow for Spider-Man: Far From Home, and it's supposed to be spoilery for Endgame, which I assume means Tony's death. And maybe the 5-year time jump.

I've never been much of a Spiderman fan. He was why I was scared to watch The Electric Company as a kid, but the current one is adorable. My teenage nieces are completely in love with him.

Tom Holland is so damn good in that role.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

As far as Peter and his friends, I'm assuming the main cast of the previous Spider-Man was conveniently dusted so they could all study the same age.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Who do they really need beyond Peter, Ned, and MJ?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

They could definitely drop Flash as far as I'm concerned. Did Harry even make an appearance in the last movie?

Harry hasn't been in the new movies. They took Ganke from the Miles books, renamed him Ned and slotted him into the best friend role instead of Harry.

Flash was in the first Far From Home trailer so I'm assuming he was dusted along with Ned and Peter.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

MJ will be in Far From Home too, according to a random post on the internet.
