We saw Deadpool tonight, and I swear to god, I
didn't cry when I saw
Infinity War (not
even at Spidey's death -- though it was close),
but
I cried at goddamn
Deadpool. (Not
when Vanessa died,
but
when Wade [briefly] died and was with Vanessa).
And I'm assuming that the post-credits scene (which was AWESOME)
undid Vanessa's death,
or no?
Also, that crack about
Rob Liefeld
was so fucking awesome.
I like Josh Brolin a lot more as Cable than as Thanos.
Not sure how accurate this is, but I found an article about Chinese nicknames for the Avengers.
I finally saw Deadpool 2, and it was fine, but how was Josh Brolin so hot?!?!
how was Josh Brolin so hot?!?!
Totally my reaction!!! It took maybe half the movie, and then I was suddenly like THE THIRST: I HAVE IT.
I was also left wondering what Annie that was, and I just realized how unsurprising the answer is: the 1999 ABC/Disney TV movie.
Ragnarok is on Netflix starting tomorrow.
And Civil War is leaving Netflix on June 25, in case you need to watch it a couple dozen more times.
That reminds me, time to buy Ragnarok as well. I should get the first Thor as well.

W00t! I mean, I know I'll buy it eventually. But I'm saving up for summer vacation stuff, so it'll be nice to put that off and still rewatch Ragnorok a couple dozen more times.
I'm liking Cloak and Dagger so far.
Of course, I liked The Runaways initially, too, then it went sideways.
I liked what I saw so far too, Tom.
