Lydia: Its removal from Burma is a felony and when triggered it has the power to melt human eyeballs. Giles: In that case I've severely underpriced it.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I've finally finished all of season 1 of Daredevil. I enjoyed it a lot, but I got a little tired of all the fight scenes, especially when Matt would be whoopin' ass and then all of a sudden it's like he completely forgot how to fight and gets his ass handed to him. He always either wins out in the end or escapes, but it just got too rote and cliche for me. OTOH, I love badass Karen; I still can't believe she shot Wesley!! I totally ♥ Karen.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Big shake-up at Marvel Studios. Ike Perlmutter gets pushed aside, Kevin Feige gets all the marbles.

The report also indicates that the ripples from Perlmutter’s departure may be even more substantial than originally thought. According to sources, Perlmutter—who has a background in the toy business—was specifically responsible for the controversial decision to take a gendered approach to Avengers merchandise. In short, the blame is falling on him for the conspicuous absence of Black Widow-related toys.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Well, isn't that interesting. Wonder if we'll see a few more boob-endowed action figures and other merch pretty soon?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

There is an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on tonight ... not sure if it's a repeat, new, or what but I wouldn't want to miss it whatever it is.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

S3 doesn't start until the end of the month, so I'd guess tonight is a rerun.

Probably recapping the end of the season before the premiere.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Looks like a rerun of last season's finale.

I suspected as much ... not that I'll miss it - it's been too long without them.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Everyone knows the Dubsmash Wars continue, right? [link]
