Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
Okay, I've read io9's spoiler-free review of Infinity War, and that's all I'm reading. I don't trust any other review/place on the internet to not spoil me. So until Saturday, I'm basically sticking around here and looking at Facebook through one squinty eye to be sure no one posted about Infinity War.
I should just buy my ticket for a second viewing now.
I should just buy my ticket for a second viewing now.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Tep, WHILE YOU ARE HERE...
It's 110% your fault that today's Deep Thought about Scott Evans was that he is what Chris would look like as a Tom of Finland drawing.
I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY, TEPPY.
Signed, hiding here, too, else I'd have tagged and dragged on Tumblr.
But, like, no lie: he really does!
Which has been cracking my shit up all day, for the record.
I'm seeing it Friday afternoon with my entire office.
And the current topic in the company chat room is Bucky/Loki fanfic. (Some very thoughtful comments on why those characters have strong appeal among the predominantly female fic writer community.)
I kind of love working here.
That's pretty great, Jessica.
I've got my ticket for Thursday at 6, going by myself. I just have to decide what to wear and what concessions to have for dinner. I think my theater has expanded its choices recently.
My ticket is for 7 on Thursday, and fortunately, Buddy's Burritos is right across the street, so I'll have time to eat before the film starts.
My theatre has dinner service but I am going to eat first.
Jessica, I wish I worked where you do! My company is dude-laden. I don't even want to discuss the weirdness of the Venom trailer with them.
Noon on Sunday. Theaters are easy to get into on Sunday in "god-fearing" communities, even for blockbusters. Then I can spend the afternoon catching up on spoiler sites.
