Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
I've been wanting to say this somewhere, and this seems like my best shot: I saw Lobby Hero in New York in 2001, and at the time I thought that Jeff was supposed to be played by Mark Ruffalo, but that's when he had the brain tumor, so was off the scene for a while. (Google tells me Variety said at the time, "Jeff is a lovable Lonergan type we've come to associate with the actor Mark Ruffalo.")
In short, everything is connected.
SHIELD: I am seeing so many Buffy/Angel "borrows" this season. Phil's fear was totally Buffy Normal Again. Deke is another grown baby like Jasmine (though not a god [THAT WE KNOW OF!!!]). I'm a little bored this season.
JJ2: Thoroughly enjoyed it, but not as good as S1. Krysten Ritter is so damned good that I've stopped wishing Eliza Dushku had been cast in the role. I feel like she and Carrie Anne Moss deserve Emmy noms for their work this season. Damn.

More like Connor, no? Raised in a hell dimension and all.
Deke amusing himself with knowing FitzSimmons are his grandparents and Fiktz going "You're so weird" is fun.

Yes! Like Connor! But I liked Connor and so far, Deke is doing nothing for me.
Captain Marvel finally begins shooting.
A couple of interesting names showed up in the cast list, including Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou, whose characters were killed off in Guardians of the Galaxy. But since Captain Marvel takes place in the 1990s, this shouldn't be a big deal.
Also in the cast list is Clark Gregg, whose beloved character Agent Phil Coulson was killed off in The Avengers, and never seen since.

Please don't let it just be a flashback.
I just realized what longer-hair scruffy Bucky in the posters reminds me of.
Highlander.
There can be only one, motherfucker.

Dude who is older than he looks, with long brown hair and advanced skills with sharp pointy things? I could see it.
ETA: OK, here's a crossover. The serum activated latent Immortal abilities in Steve and Bucky. So they have to both save the world and fight off various K-immies. Methos and Bucky bond over their respective BFFs or BFs (depending on your slash preferences). Richie Ryan? Still dead.
