Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
You know, she may actually help him create that nanobot armor, and if he's willing to let her help him with the suit, I don't think he's too annoyed.
Given his mentor-y relationship with Peter, I think he'll actually be delighted (because he clearly supports the smarty-pants of the younger generation). But Shuri will still roast him, because that's what she lives for.
Tony likes people who can stand up to him. I see Steve and T'Challa both being horrified as Tony and Shuri start bonding.
I want to see Tony introduce Shuri and Peter and say something about super-smart babies. Though Peter would dissolve in embarrassment.
Just bought my ticket for Sunday noon. Hooray for Utahns who go to church.
You know, I was impressed with the effort put into the trailer for Thor: Ragnarok to not give away big important shit, like Thor losing an eye and whatnot. So it just makes me wonder what in the Infinity War trailer has been concealed with CGI like that.
Like a Steve-Tony meeting . . .
edit: it's a giant, billion-dollar telanovela with more explosions.
My money's on half the cast being portaled to a pocket universe / alternate dimension where they don't get to be in movies for a while, but aren't dead just in case Marvel wants them back later.
That's the best possible scenario.
I am so here for Steve's stubborn rage and resist face. OMG.
Was Sigourney Weaver not worth watching The Defenders for?
Okay, I'll consider The Defenders because Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, but right now I'm a little heartbroken by the JJ episode "I Want Your Cray Cray". Daamn.
Regarding SHIELD's 100th, I thought Phil's nightmare cut right to the quick. I liked it.
I will totally accept that it was other people's beautiful cake, overall, but, yeah, that scene was good shit.

Because you could see him thinking "he may may right." I'm glad they showed the real Mike Petersen right then so we knew it was just a nightmare. I'm tired of the "No, you haven't done all these things, you're in an asylum and dreaming them" trope.
