How caught up on the Netflix shows do I need to be for S2 of Jessica Jones? I stopped a few eps into Iron Fist and haven't seen The Defenders. If I need to see The Defenders, can I at least skip the rest of Iron Fist?

You can definitely skip Iron Fist, aurelia. And I don't think you need much of anything from The Defenders to enjoy S2 of Jessica Jones either.
I highly recommend avoiding both Iron Fist and The Defenders and watching all of S2 JJ immediately.
I like that answer.
Was Sigourney Weaver not worth watching The Defenders for?
I watched the first episode of The Defenders and there was waaaaaay too much of that Iron Fist dude, whose utter lack of screen presence is some kind of a superpower, fer serious. Every time he was on screen, I'd just zone out. I was theoretically interested in the rest of the team, but was left with little desire to continue on.
Glad to hear I don't need to have watched it to grok JJ S2!
Was Sigourney Weaver not worth watching The Defenders for?
Sadly, no, because her character wouldn't shut up about the Iron fucking Fist.
If you can stick with it, everyone else on The Defenders considers Iron Fist a pain in the ass. He gets hit a lot.
The relationship between Matt and Jessica is great. But I wouldn't argue that The Defenders is can't-miss.
Soooooo, SHIELD's 100th episode was...kind of crap, yeah? Like, that was real slow, and while stuff happened, I guess, it was pretty much all predictable (like, I called Deek's parentage more or less immediately when he made reference to his dad, just a generation off).
I didn't see it coming until he mentioned the ring.
