Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I feel like from a purely character arc standpoint, the actual battle is Killmonger vs Nakia, and she obliterates him.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Two random Black Panther thoughts:

- My favorite thing about Okoye is that she has fun. Even in a movie where there are enough women that each one doesn't have to be Every Woman, it's so great that the general isn't just deadpan and serious at all times.

- How awesome that young T'Chaka AND young Zuri are played by the other actors' sons? (I was really wondering how they got that guy's eyes to look just like Forrest Whitaker's.)

PLOT TWIST: Denzel Whitaker is not actually Forrest's son, wtf. [link]

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Yeah, for young T'Chaka, for a couple of minutes I was wondering John Kani (the actor for old T'Chaka) got the de-aging technique that made Michael Douglas look so fucking creepy in the flashback in Ant-Man.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

This is amusing. [link]

Does Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have any pretense at all any more of being in the movie universe? You would think that Tony or someone would notice if Phil Coulson were at the top of the Most Wanted List.

Well, the rest of the Avengers should have noticed Tony threatening a world-level terrorist and getting his house blown off a cliff, so there's a whole lot of "Eh, I'm busy" going on in the MCU.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I mean, Thor could conceivably have been off-planet throughout, and the rest of the Avengers wouldn't have been able to keep up with all the cross-continental flight involved. Though I do wish they'd had a cameo of Captain America rolling up at the site of the US President's televised execution on a motorcycle just in time to find out the problem had been taken care of.

"Oh, thank you, Captain Rogers, but Iron Man took care of everything."

We'll always have fic.
