For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Finally watched the AoS premiere last night and I'm all in (unfamiliar with Odyssey 5). Will we see Fitz this season? How did Mac get in there? Did Daisy really do that????
It was really affecting to see the Earth shattered to bits. I wonder if I'd feel the same had this aired prior to the Evil Cheeto.
Fitz will be there, he should show up about Ep 5. The actor was working on a movie. Mac was with them at the diner when they got grabbed, the whole team was there waiting to be arrested. It will be interesting to see how they explain leaving Fitz behind.
edit: And in boring logic, Daisy at least gets home, because she certainly hasn't blown up the earth yet.
Gemma continues to be my ruthlessly practical favorite. At least everyone acknowledges that FitzSimmons is an underpinning of the universe and them being apart is something that Should Not Stand.
So did they explain how Mac was back with them? I don't remember that.
He was with them for the big takedown at the end of last season. They got him out of the Framework.

So he's kind of a Mac simulation from a virtual reality world... that was built under the Darkhold's influence? Yeah, no way that could possibly go wrong...
No, he's the real Mac. The bit that was in the virtual reality was the fake, but he remembers everything--including raising his daughter, who died. He wanted to stay in the virtual reality when everyone else returned to their own bodies, but . . .
The one currently is the original Mac.
Oh! I was seeing Mac but thinking Tripp, and assuming they pulled someone out of the faux matrix that had died.

I'm a little ambivalent about the season so far, but there have been some excellent reveals and clever power use. WRT the Earth, I was assuming it was a tie in to Infinity Wars, and I still think that. Deke's history knowledge is spotty beyond what the Kree have told them, yes?
I just caught up on AoS last night. Interested to see where they go with this.
