I'm watching the second episode of The Gifted. It's so much better than The Inhumans. I actually care about some of the characters. I don't remember their names, but I don't roll my eyes at every third line they utter, so it's a notable improvement. So far in my head it's Amy Acker plays Mom, Michael Westen's mom, and Agent Burke's slightly less attractive younger brother. Plus a bunch of younger mutants.
Lorne: My little prince. Oh…what did they do to you? Angel: Nina…tried to…eat me. Lorne: Oh, you're--medic! You're gonna make it Angel. Just don't stop fighting. Doctor! Is there a Gepetto in the house?

I'll be in the theater the first day for Black Panther, but I'm starting to get a little annoyed at the plotting of these MCU movies:
- Iron Man (2008): Iron Man, a superhero in high-tech battle armor fights Iron Monger, a supervillain in high-tech battle armor.
- The Incredible Hulk (2008): Hulk, a rampaging monster created by gamma radiation battles the Abomination, a rampaging monster created by gamma radiation.
- Captain Amercica: The Winter Soldier (2014): Captain America, a supersoldier created by a super-serum, battles The Winder Soldier, a supersoldier created by a super-serum.
- Ant-Man (2015): Ant-Man, a hero in a supersuit that can shrink battles Yellowjacket, a villain in a supersuit that can shrink
- Black Panther (2018): Black Panther, a superhero in a vibranium supersuit battles Erik Killmonger, a supervillain in a vibranium supersuit.

Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.
Part of the problem is I don't think Marvel has a lot of iconic villains, at least not in the way DC does, and most of the ones they do have (like Magneto and Doctor Doom) belong to Fox on the movie side.
As goofy as a lot of Spidey's rogues gallery is, at least they're not all evil versions of him. So we should get some variety on that front, at least.

My brother texts me (frequently) with SUPER BAD casting ideas for Spidey's villains, like Jon Lovitz as Hydro-Man.

Marvel's lack of Cool Villains seems weird to me since they've got Loki, Red Skull, Galactus, Dr. Doom, all of Spidey's foes (Ditko was good at creating those guys), Magneto, Kingpin etc.
But as noted, those are mostly parceled out to the non-MCU properties or Netflix.
The bigger issue is that they've gotten very formulaic with their projects. Which since it's basically a machine to print up Nigh-A-Billion dollars I understand.
But Dr. Strange was really really close to the first Iron Man (with a side of Inception visuals).
I'm hoping Thor: Ragnarok shakes things up as much as the trailers suggest.
