Discussion of all Marvel Cinematic Universe related movies and TV shows, including, but not limited to, the Avengers, Captain America, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, etc., etc., etc. ad-infinitum.
Discussion of non-MCU Marvel titles like the X-Men or the Fantastic Four is also permitted. Ties to comics may be discussed, but this is not the primary forum for comics discussion (see the Other Media thread).
Spoiler policy: For broadcast TV shows, blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast. For movies and Internet streaming shows, whitefont all plot-related discussion until it's been in wide release two weeks. Posters are encouraged to preface their posts to indicate the subject, particulary if switching subjects.
I finally started watching Daredevil this weekend (made it to episode 8 of Season 1) and I'm just blown away by how great this cast is. I will say I preferred Jon Favreau's Foggy (though he's Happy Hogan in the MCU) but this one is still good. Otherwise I can't think of anyone I would have cast differently. Though the fact that Leyland's voice sounds very similar to Stan Lee gives me pause now and then.
I will say this feels like a very different Kingpin than I'm used to (and not just the lack of the white suit). Still cunning and ruthless, but much less self-assured.

I'm FB friends with chatty!former co-worker, and he apparently saw Spider-Man: Homecoming tonight. All he said was "Mind. BLOWN." I take that as a good sign. (I don't know how he swung an advanced screening, but I am WILDLY jealous.)

Awww Chatty Co-Worker! How's his Mod Life?
The Spider-man coffee thing was great.
The Inhumans trailer not so much. Looks like they did a good job with Lockjaw, at least.
Given what we saw of Stan Lee at Awesome Con a few weeks ago, I fear he will not be far behind his beloved Joan who has passed away.
