Hot damn, Sam Cooke AND Parliament!
So, catching up on SHIELD. It seems like the past few episodes have been a lot of the writers giving the current real world a giant middle finger.
"HYDRA are Nazis"
"Nevertheless, she persisted"
"Make ______ great again"
Yeah!
Also, I'm not remembering Fitz's backstory. I can't remember him mentioning his father, but he must have. That must have been his regret, but I can't remember it.
I LOVED "nevertheless..."
I think Iain DeCaesteckers is knocking it out of the park in terms of acting.
I seem to remember knowing that Fitz's father was abusive, but I can't point to when we actually found that out.
I like how they've essentially made Fitz the season's Big Bad. (I mean, I don't "like" it because it makes me sad.)
I hope Bizarro!Ward stays good to the end.
I was just sayin to TCG a couple episodes back that they were going to find a way to bring good Ward into the real world, and of course this week, they presented that possibility. I'd rather keep Tripp.
