Looks more like typecasting to me.

Maybe his hair became darker because he isn't wielding Mjölnir. I bet that when he gets Mjölnir back in the third act, his long, blond locks will be instantly restored.
Let's hope!
Asgardians don't dye their hair blonde. They dip their locks in the River of Glowing Blondeness which flows in shimmering torrents from the Mountain of Vanity.
Heee!
Haven't had the chance to watch the trailer, but I will say that my hair is lighter in color the longer it gets because of sun-bleaching. Not that any of y'all were actually being serious, but, y'know, it is.
THANK YOU.
I can never keep myself from headbanging to the Immigrant's Song.
Me either! *bang bang* Perfect choice, wonder if it'll be in the movie?
All I can say is I better see an Infinity Stone in Hela's possession to explain that bit with Mjolnir.
Seriously. There better be some dang good explanation for that.
I suppose they're not going with the part of the mythology where Hela is Loki's daughter.
oh, hey, Karl Urban is in it too. I like him.
It must be a thrill for an actor to become part of the MCU. It would be for ME, anyway.
Tessa Thompson! Yay!
I suppose they're not going with the part of the mythology where Hela is Loki's daughter.
I was wondering about that.
I can never keep myself from headbanging to the Immigrant's Song.
THANK YOU! I could not figure out how I knew the song, and I refused to google. I just went to You Tube to hear it again, and there's a comment "who came her from the Ragnarok trailer" with 4567 likes
You're supposed to go here to listen to the song.
That's where I heard it ... and I keep having that image ....
I'm currently editing a document with multiple references to Safety Instrumented Function, abbreviated SIF. Picturing Lady Sif running the valves is kinda making my day.
