It sounds like everyone has been turned into some kind of AI? Which can't be right, but I really want it to be.

Spoilers:

Radcliffe the evil scientist has created Life Model Decoys, and he thinks everyone will see the wisdom of putting sick people's minds into super-powered LMDs. He's also created a Matrix-type world called the Framework. Because the PTB keep being upset that he's replacing people without permission and sticking them in the Framework, he's grabbed most of the main characters, replaced them, and plugged the originals into the Framework. Two remaining main characters have blown up the base and are sneaking into the Framework to try and get their friends back.

There's a whole lot more I left out.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

...huh.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

And here's the actual trailer: [link]

Thankfully, they didn't go with "Tusk". After the premier of The Americans, that song was in my head for weeks and weeks.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So if I dropped out of AoS in the beginning of this season because Ghost Rider was boring me, where would I want to jump back in to catch up with the goodness?

Hard to say. This last episode was AMAZING, but it was a long, talky slog to get there.

At least the last episode before the Christmas break, there was a big reveal there.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

where would I want to jump back in to catch up with the goodness?

Either the last Ghost Rider episode (8 - The Laws of Inferno Dynamics), or the first LMD one (9 - Broken Promises), would be my suggestion.

I liked Ghost Rider. I'd like to see him come back.

Is that Kurt Russell in the latest Guardian's trailer?

I thought he would be taller.
