Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

Got to the credits on the final spisode of Orphan Black the Next Chapter on Serial Boc just when I got the notification that the live table read was starting o FB. And the yard is 1/3-1/2 mosed, so good time to stop. Everything's coming up Milhouse!

That was fun. I had forgotten a LOT from the first season.

There was some talk about how far ahead the creators had stuff worked out and someone said they saw a "bible" that had 3 seasons laid out but then all that got used in the first 7 episodes...

The Next Chapter was fantastic and oddly timely, Thanks for reminding me about it, aurelia!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thanks for reminding me about the reading!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I saw that one of the services is doing a new version of The Stand ... or at least it was planned. Might end up being cancelled and just showing news reports.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I watched the table read from the Community cast on YouTube and laughed super hard. They had Pedro Pascal guest read and he kept breaking the further they got in; the rest of the cast was basically "yeah, welcome to this job". It was great.

Also on streaming, I've been really enjoying Taika Waiiti's episodic reading of "James and the Giant Peach", featuring a slew of celebrity contributors that change with each episode. Really excellent, particularly as I haven't read the book since elementary school -- so I've forgotten everything that happens, making this really engaging.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

All three seasons of Hannibal are now available on Netflix.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Has anyone seen Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga yet? I generally take a hard pass on Will Ferrell comedies, but this one has Rachel McAdams as the female lead, Dan Stevens playing the rival (who's a closeted Russian George Michael expy!), Natasia Demetriou in a supporting role, and Graham Norton as himself, so I'm wavering.

It all comes down to one question: Does Pierce Brosnan sing in this?
